#2. It’s effortless energy.

The lovely Meryl Streep said:

“What makes you different or weird? That’s your strength.”

As far as I know, not many people get me. I can be somewhat left-field with my whimsical-like introverted ways. Eccentric. Direct. Reserved. Wild. Kind. Deep. You could say that I’m a walking contradiction, but aren’t we all?

I have little regard for social norms, am obsessed with the soul, love, and metaphysics, find most people draining, analyze the crap out of everything, and taste in music that is slightly eclectic. I also have a knack for unintentionally offending people. …

You’ve got to reconnect with the universe if you want to receive the signs.

“Please, show me the way,” I ask the stars. As if their cryptic shine will magically unravel the path ahead of me.

Do the stars answer?

When you ask, the answers are always given. Only, listening to the signs of the universe isn’t as easy as picking up the phone and dialing up the 111-universe help hotline. It would be nice if that were the case but it’s not. And that means it can be easy to ignore the signs when the universe is attempting to collaborate with you.

The trick is that it takes intentional practice to work out…

The kind of love we all want.

“This world’s anguish is no different
from the love we insist on holding back.”

― Aberjhani,

From: Elemental: The Power of Illuminated Love

Real love.

You already know that you want to have a life filled with love — receiving it, giving it, feeling it, surrounded by it. But you also know that the “love” you’ve found so far isn’t quite as satisfying as you’d like.

It doesn’t fill you up.

It doesn’t make you whole or give you genuine and lasting happiness.

Maybe you’re confused about what real love looks like, but you want to find it, fill up…

Think it’s easy to be beautiful? Think again.

“It’s beauty that captures attention: Personality that captures your heart.”

- Oscar Wilde

Ah, beauty.

We seem to believe that beautiful young women are born sprinkled with stardust — God’s gift to the earth. It is probably why men often fall over themselves to be noticed by beautiful women while other, less-than-perfect looking females may feel threatened in their presence. We can thank society’s warped elevation of outer beauty for that. …

Let’s talk about love chemistry.

I’ll never forget the intense electric shot that surged through my body the first time my husband accidentally brushed up against my arm. It felt like a voltaic awakening spiraling through me. An unexpected shot of palpable heat irrepressibly tugged at my core energy, drawing me toward him with a powerful sensation beyond the realm of control. The moment stayed with me; it was that profound. I’d not experienced such a robust sexual awareness for anyone before that.

It was exquisite.

A delicious taste of what was in store for the immediate future, and honestly, the more time I spent…

But she opens safely to conscious power.

“Sex is an emotion in motion.”
Mae West

Suppose your woman isn’t giving out like she used to.

What do you do?

Hound her constantly for sex?

Envelope her in a guilt trip?

How about strategically sprinkling in not-so-subtle hints throughout totally unrelated conversations?

You know, if she asks you to pick up milk on the way home from a run, you say, “sure, but what are you gonna do for me tonight?”

“Are you going to give me some milk, baby?”

“A little honey, honey?”

Maybe she ignores you. Perhaps you get frustrated. …

The social pandemic that no one is talking about it.

I don’t know; I think the woman was about mid-fifties. She was walking her dog with her teenage son in a pair of bike trend shorts and a hoodie. She stopped to talk to my mother while I watched my kids scour the shallow rock pools for crabs and other sea delights. It was then that I made the fatal mistake that would forever corrupt my soul — I looked at where my mother stood talking with bike-short lady and got an eyeful of camel toe.

And not just any camel toe.

It was the hallmark of a not-so-subtle, unobstructed…

Because coercive control has a science.

Coercive control has a science.

Men are particularly good at using coercive tactics to control women. I should know. I survived a twelve-year-long relationship grounded in gender-based privilege and based on a strategic course of action designed to intimidate, degrade, control, and isolate me.

There was no physical security present. My dignity was nil: self-respect, nada.

My personal choices were stripped away, replaced by ongoing oppression and terrorism that invaded every aspect of my life, my freedom — to the point that he deprived me of my fundamental human rights.

According to the United Nations, things like the right to…

And how she can play her hand in the game.

He told me that smart men test women.

He said that if a man doesn’t test a woman, it’s probably a sign of disinterest in getting emotionally involved, or he’s inexperienced in the realm of relationships. Not to offend. It’s just the way it is.

I recently discussed the topic with my husband.

Often women are so willing to do whatever it takes to be with a guy. We, being the emotional creatures we are, can be daft like that.

Men know it.

They use our vulnerability to their advantage until they know what they want from us. Sometimes, a…
